As with most disassembly tasks the TSRM provides a fairly good guide, but misses some details.
Before you can get the glass out, all the external window trim and the side mirror attachment need to be removed. To do this the window needs to be fully wound down, so you can access the screws to get the top door trim off. The internal guide rails for the window need to also be removed. The glass needs to be tilted to pull out the rear attachment first and then the front.
The result, the door glass is removed.
